Drillers Snag 6-2 Win
|
Dallas rode a decent outing from starter Brendan Allison to victory over the Phoenix Roadrunners. The final score was 6-2. Dallas reliever Xander Crosby was the winner. His record is now 3-3. The losing pitcher was Weston Pilling. With the win, the Drillers have a record of 16-21.
Devin Welninski drew 1 walk for Dallas. The 2056 Stout Slugger Award winner had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Weston Pilling. It was his 9th walk of the season.
