Millers Get Hard-Earned Win
The Pittsburgh Millers dumped the Baltimore Bulldogs, 5-4, in large part due to designated hitter Nolan Dietrich. On the day, Dietrich went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times for the Millers. Pittsburgh reliever Guy Hunnicutt picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Anton Anthony absorbed the loss. With the win, the Millers sit at 21-15.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Dietrich. Facing Anton Anthony with the bases empty, the Pittsburgh designated hitter had a solo home run. Game over, walk-off style!
