Bats Raise Rally Flag, Beat Syracuse, 11-7
The Washington Bats beat the Syracuse Snappers, 11-7, at The Capitol. Washington third baseman Jules Vaughn had the hot bat. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Erich Mosqueda earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. His record is now 4-0.
