Bats Need Extra Frames to Get Past Clowns
Parker Lee was the difference-maker for the Washington Bats in what turned into a shootout with the Indianapolis Clowns. Lee went 3-for-4 in the 11-9 Bats win. Washington, with the win, is 12-24.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the 12th, with Washington trailing 9-8, Lee hit a fastball from Ralph Shields for a 3-run home run, giving the Bats the walk-off win.
