The Dallas Drillers took it on the chin, losing 10-2 to the Indianapolis Clowns. Chad Flanigan, who is tied for 2nd in the DL in wins with 4, pitched a strong game for Indianapolis. Indianapolis raised its record to 19-15 with the win.

Nick Edwards had a big 3-run home run for the Clowns in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Indianapolis leading 5-2 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Addison Diehl and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 6th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Clowns ahead, 8-2.

Dallas manager Dave Sima called the blowout loss "ugly."
