A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the New York Cyclones and Denver Bulls.

The New York Cyclones and starting pitcher Cedric Erickson stifled the Denver offense en route to a comfortable 8-1 win at Rocky Top Park. Erickson went 8.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 1, and struck out 10. His record improves to 4-1.

New York relied on the bat of Alexander Charter to get the win. The center fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Cyclones ahead, 2-0. For the game, Charter had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Charter told the New York News.

With the victory, the Cyclones upped their record to 25-8.
