Cyclones Win with Late Rally
The New York Cyclones knocked off the Seattle Pilots, 6-5, at Kennedy Field at Metropolitan Stadium. It took 10 innings. Fred Etheridge was a prime reason New York won. The designated hitter went 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Percival Butler, who is rated as the 49th best prospect by BNN, picked up the win in relief. Shavar Hannan took the loss for Seattle. The Pilots drop to 12-20.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Etheridge hit a sinker from Shavar Hannan for a run-scoring single. The Cyclones, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This team is hotter than heck," said New York manager Conor Hill.
