The Baltimore Bulldogs went home winners at Hurricane Rice Arena, thanks in large part to starter Kelvin Ellis. Ellis stifled the Windy City Blues, enabling Baltimore to grab the 7-1 win. The Bulldogs have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 10th win in 29 games.

In the bottom of the third, Baltimore first baseman Drew Foster had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Foster stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 2-0, Baltimore. For the game, he was 1-3.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Baltimore skipper Mike Dominquez.
