The Denver Bulls beat the Seattle Pilots, 4-3. Denver pitcher and Burton, Michigan, native Saxby Lucas led the way. In 6 innings, Lucas surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Jarred Alston earned the save for Denver, his 11th of the year.
