Millers Cut Down Patriots, 4-0
|
Pitcher Joel Greer was sensational for the Pittsburgh Millers in his team's 4-0 triumph over the Pawtucket Patriots. Greer picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Johnny Youngstrom finished the game for Pittsburgh and earned his 1st save. Pawtucket, with the loss, is 14-13.
Griffin Camacho hit a 2-run double off Jace Szymanski in the bottom of the first, which put the Millers in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Camacho had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Pittsburgh manager Jimmy Collins.
