History was made today at The Driller Dugout -- Charlie Spence won game #250 to seal his name in the league record books. The Dallas ace downed the Montreal Exports 8-4 to gain entrance into the elite 250 Club.

"I was wound up at first. I think I threw too hard," remarked Spence, "I had to calm down and go out there and pitch... not just throw. I think I got better as the game wore on. I started to think less about 250 wins and more about doing what I had to do."

Over his career the 39-year-old Spence has won 250 and lost 171, collecting 4599 strikeouts and 1077 walks in 3633 innings with a 3.43 ERA. Opponents have hit .232 against him.
