Trumbo Hits 2 home runs in Drillers Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Wilmington Wildcats and Dallas Drillers get after it.

The 9-1 Dallas win over Wilmington was due in large part to Pat Trumbo. The Drillers right fielder went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a triple. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The Wildcats, now 7-13, continue their sluggish start.

With two out in the bottom of the third, Sean Kovacevic barreled up a fastball from Chase Mellas. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Drillers in front, 5-1.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Kovacevic said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
