Rum Runners Take Down Wildcats, 7-6
No one was more impactful than Rykeem Potts in the 7-6 Santo Domingo win over Wilmington. Potts, who is tied for 2nd in the DL in runs scored with 17, was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Brad Hudson earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. Santo Domingo has a mark of 11-10 after the win.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and two out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when second baseman Braxton Price, who leads the DL in doubles with 8, hit a 2-run home run. The Rum Runners went on to win.
