Henry Top-Notch as Bulldogs Stop Bulls, 2-1
|
Grant Henry was on the winning side of a pitcher's duel at Hurricane Rice Arena. In fact, the Baltimore Bulldogs left-hander was instrumental in his team's 2-1 victory over the Denver Bulls. With the victory, the Bulldogs upped their record to 66-66.
Henry ran roughshod over the Denver lineup. The left-hander allowed just 3 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 9. With the victory, he goes to 8-4 on the season.
"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Denver manager Joey Lindauer.
