The Syracuse Snappers dealt the Dallas Drillers a 5-2 loss at Snapper Park. Drew Alexandre was the star on offense. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Levi Backman recorded the save, his 36th. The Snappers are now 63-69, while the Drillers fall to 73-58.

Alexandre contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Syracuse in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Alexandre took a sinker from Joe Hodo and stroked the home run to right. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Snappers to leap in front, 2-1.

"We understand we didn't play our best baseball," said losing manager Dave Sima. "We'll shower it off and be ready to compete."
