The Carolina Tobs got a good effort from starter Chase Vaughan in defeating the California Kodiaks at Tobs Stadium. The final score was 3-1. Antonio Sutton, credited with the win, is now 2-5. He allowed no runs on no hits. Carolina has now won 4 straight, while the Kodiaks have lost 3 in a row.
Carolina won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With no outs and Payton Cooke on the mound for California, first baseman Rykeem Potts hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Tobs fans to their feet.
