Voodoo Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Patriots, 4-2
The New Orleans Voodoo beat the Pawtucket Patriots, 4-2, at Pawtucket Park. The Voodoo got a fine performance from center fielder Darrin Cramer, who went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. New Orleans reliever Kaleb Mannino picked up the win to move to 5-7. Kris Elliott suffered the loss. With the win, New Orleans has a record of 58-67. Pawtucket falls to 53-73.

Cramer had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch fastball from Kris Elliott, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Voodoo a 4-2 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Cramer.

Cramer described the clubhouse as "strangely calm" after the game.
