Bats Rebuff Dinos, 4-3
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Washington Bats and Los Angeles Dinos.
Starting pitcher J.P. Lovins pitched well enough to help the Washington Bats beat the Los Angeles Dinos, 4-3. Los Angeles's current losing streak is now 4 games.
Had Ollie Snelgrove not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Snelgrove hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Bats.
"J.P. is still learning," said Bats manager Pat Fiume. "The sky's the limit for him."
