New York Cyclones starter Cedric Erickson was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Philadelphia Freedom, 6-4. The win belongs to Braden Allen in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Keegan Groves took the loss for Philadelphia. With the win, New York raised its record to 69-53.

New York won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With two outs and Keegan Groves on the mound for Philadelphia, left fielder Jerry Critchfield hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Cyclones fans to their feet.

"We'll grab a barley pop and savor this win," said Critchfield.
