Huber Lifts Bulls to 13-9 Triumph
With first baseman Blake Huber leading the charge, the Denver Bulls defeated the Philadelphia Freedom, 13-9, at Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower Field. Huber was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The win was credited to 23-year old right-handed pitcher Thom Lietz in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Evan Rusiecki took the loss. The win puts Denver at 46-74.

Denver used a clutch at-bat from Craig Henderson to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Bulls ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Henderson.
