Patriots Deal Cyclones 8-2 Loss
|
Ean Fink made an impact in the 8-2 Pawtucket win over New York. Fink was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Allan Allen, the winner, improved to 1-2. He held the Cyclones to 2 runs on 6 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 2. The Cyclones, now 4-8, continue their poor start.
With Pawtucket leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Fink hit a curveball from Oscar Dudzik for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Patriots ahead, 4-0.
"Things went our way," said Fink.
