Sayon Castillo did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Pittsburgh Millers from losing, 9-8, to the Toronto Canadians at Kennywood Park. Castillo was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs. Brian Clark notched his 31st save in 34 chances. Toronto has now won 6 straight, while the Millers have lost 3 in a row.

Toronto used a well-timed hit by Reese Bowman to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Canadians ahead, 4-3. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Tom Dingman.
