Weinberg Helps Santo Domingo Cruise to 10-3 Win
The Santo Domingo Rum Runners bested the Syracuse Snappers, 10-3, at Brugal Park. Payton Weinberg was one of the standouts. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The winner was Rice Cochell, who threw 108 pitches over 8 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 5 hits. The victory puts Santo Domingo at 45-70.
