New Orleans Scrapes Out 4-2 Win
The Los Angeles Sharks got a sterling performance from pitcher Brock Hagenah, but the New Orleans Voodoo still prevailed, 4-2. Hagenah threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. Jayden Lemley picked up the save, his 5th. The Voodoo, now 9-2, have stormed out of the gates.

New Orleans won the game in part because of Julian Davis. The first baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Voodoo ahead, 4-2. For the game, Davis had 1 double and 1 home run in 3 at-bats.

Davis called the win a test of his team's "mettle."
