Dinos Get Past Syracuse for 4-3 Win
|
Asher Kappler did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Syracuse Snappers from losing, 4-3, to the Los Angeles Dinos at Jurassic Park. Kappler went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Tod Steffen picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 7-7. Dallas Jordan was tagged with the loss. Los Angeles is 4th in the Import League Bock Division with a record of 53-58.
Los Angeles took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With two out, designated hitter Sage Emerson hit a 2-run home run that amped up the crowd.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Syracuse manager Erik Pardue said following the tough loss.
