Kodiaks Held in Check by Bulldogs, Lose, 5-0
|
Baltimore picked up a win at In-N-Out Field, toppling the California Kodiaks, 5-0. Pitcher Kelvin Ellis was one of the reasons the Bulldogs triumphed. Baltimore has a 3-game win streak, while California has lost 3 in a row.
Baltimore used the bat of Kyle Dodiry to get the win. The catcher hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bulldogs ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"It was a good effort all around," said Dodiry.
