The Toronto Canadians locked up a win at Dylan Owens Stadium, knocking off the Syracuse Snappers, 6-3. On the mound for Toronto was right-hander Isiah McLean. He played a major role in the triumph. Toronto is now 49-57. Syracuse is 46-62.

Toronto took advantage of an error in the bottom of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 3-3, when Cordell Fortunato hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Canadians in front, 4-3.

Fortunato attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
