Windy City right fielder Ezekiel Wolfson had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 8-6, to Dallas at Jistic Field. Wolfson was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Denver Benson picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. R.C. Bendavid suffered the loss. Now 4-7, the Blues have gotten off to a poor start.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ty Dempsey? The Dallas right fielder had a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to put the Drillers on top, 4-0. For the game, Dempsey had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
