Sharks Win with Late Heroics
|
The Los Angeles Sharks topped the California Kodiaks, 1-0, in Import League action at Shark Park. The standout performance belonged to Los Angeles pitcher and Los Angeles, California, native Donovan Jansson. Los Angeles reliever Cullen Lanzetta picked up the win, upping his record to 5-4. Camron Borowski took the loss. At 42-60, the Sharks claim 5th place in the Import League Bock Division.
The decisive blow was delivered by Sean Radel in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off 22-year old left-handed pitcher Camron Borowski to win the game for Los Angeles. The home crowd went nuts.
"This house was rockin'," Radel said.
