Freedom Defeat Patriots, 4-2
|
Getting an impressive start from Theodore Stocker, Philadelphia beat Pawtucket by the score of 4-2. The loss makes Pawtucket 6-4.
Philadelphia used the clutch hitting of Abraham Koziarz to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to give the Freedom the lead, 4-2. For the game, Koziarz had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
"It's a good day to be a fan after a win like that," Koziarz told the Philadelphia Daily News.
