Clark Hurls Batavia to Shutout Victory
|
In an outstanding mound performance, Batavia Muckdogs starter Logan Clark fired a complete-game shutout against the Baltimore Bulldogs at Hurricane Rice Arena.
Clark was the key to the 2-0 Batavia win. The 24-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 5 hits and no walks he allowed.
"5 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout."
His record this season is 7-4 in 19 starts and Clark has a 2.98 ERA.
