The Big Top hosted a real pitchers' duel.

Indianapolis got a terrific performance from pitcher B.J. Armour, but it wasn't enough to beat the Washington Bats. Washington won the The Big Top contest, 1-0. Armour threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Washington, now 8-1, is setting the league on fire so far.

Washington took a 1-0 lead on Justin Reaves's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Reaves hit in the top of the seventh, left Indianapolis pitcher B.J. Armour visibly frustrated.

"We found a way to win tonight," Reaves said.
