Phoenix third baseman Tristen Severson picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Maine Guides, 3-2. Phoenix pitcher Holt Wegener earned the win, hiking his record to 6-6. Deondre Ivy suffered the loss. Trent Rogers, credited with the save, is now 3 for 3 in save opportunities.

With Phoenix trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Severson hit a fastball from Deondre Ivy for a 2-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Roadrunners ahead, 2-1.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Severson.

Maine has now lost 4 consecutive games.
