Starting pitcher Nigel Johnson was a major factor in the 4-0 Baltimore Bulldogs triumph over the Los Angeles Sharks. Johnson yielded no runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 6-4. The save went to Evan Ginn, number 1 for him.

Baltimore used a clutch at-bat from Marshall Borchelt to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Bulldogs ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We came in and did what we needed to do," said Baltimore manager Mike Dominquez.
