Hits Galore: Tabata Drills 5 Hits Tuesday, August 14th , 2012 It was a big day for Jose Tabata and he brought the Bakersfield Blaze along for the ride. Tabata led his club to victory, 12-6, over the Stockton Ports at Banner Island Ballpark, smoking Stockton pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 24-year-old left fielder later called the victory "sweet." Jose Tabata struck out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
