Playoffs Won't Happen for RiverBats Thursday, August 16th , 2012 Fans of the Louisville RiverBats have long since given up hope of the club making a serious playoff push this season. But now those hopes are officially gone, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Louisville last appeared in the postseason in 2008. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 20-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the RiverBats have only made the playoffs once. |
