International League Selects Best Performer Monday, August 6th , 2012 AJ Pollock stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the International League Player of the Week honors. The Pawtucket center fielder ripped opposing pitchers for 11 hits in 21 at-bats and 1 home run. He put together a sizzling .524 batting average as he knocked in 2 runs and scored 6 times. Pollock is currently hitting at a .308 pace with 6 home runs, 39 RBIs and has scored 49 times. |
