Beebe, on Top of His Game, Beats Memphis, 1-0 Friday, September 11th , 2009 Hans Beebe handcuffed the Memphis Redbirds at Tim McCarver Stadium today, coming away with a 7-hit, complete game shutout. "I had everything working for me out there," the Tucson Sidewinders left-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With his stuff working, Beebe had little trouble with the Redbirds and led the Sidewinders to victory, 1-0. He recorded 3 strikeouts and 2 walks in an impressive performance. Up to now Beebe has compiled an ERA of 3.49 with a 14-8 mark over 27 starts. He has 155 strikeouts in 203.2 innings and has held opponents to a .261 batting average. View Boxscore |
