Ellsbury Sticks It to NL Pitchers Monday, April 9th , 2012 A hot-hitting week got Jacoby Ellsbury the NL Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Chicago left fielder slammed them for a .520 average, 13 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 8 runs. In the postgame press conference, Ellsbury shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." |
