Trumbo Brings Home NL Batter of Month Honor Monday, October 1st , 2012 In September, Mark Trumbo let his bat do the talking for him. The St. Louis first baseman smacked the ball at a .352 average as he laid claim to the NL Batter of the Month award. He rapped 11 home runs, drove in 34 and scored 30 runs.
