The standout performance belonged to St. Louis pitcher and Gainesville, Florida, native Andrew Miller. Miller, the winner, moves to 5-4. Andre Ethier, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Ethier contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put St. Louis up, 4-1.
