Brewers Fall Short at Cincinnati, 4-3
|
The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win.
Cincinnati picked up a win at Great American Ballpark, toppling the Milwaukee Brewers, 4-3. Pitcher Neal Frendling was one of the reasons the Reds triumphed. Cincinnati has a 3-game win streak, while Milwaukee has lost 3 in a row.
Kevin Youkilis was the walk-off hero for Cincinnati. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Reds third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I always intend to finish what I've started," said Frendling.
