Anaheim Gets 7-3 Win Against Blue Jays
|
The Anaheim Angels took Toronto pitcher Octavio Acevedo's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The final score had Anaheim getting past the Blue Jays, 7-3. Acevedo went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 4. Anaheim pitcher Nick Struck earned the win, hiking his record to 2-1. Octavio Acevedo suffered the loss. With the loss, Toronto falls to 12-19.
Ernesto Gonzalez helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-1, Angels.
