Olguin Socks It to Fisher Cats, Cracks 5 Hits
5 times is the charm -- at least for Ricardo Olguin.

The New Britain Rock Cats right fielder tore up the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Gill Stadium. The offensive onslaught from Olguin powered the 5-4 Rock Cats win.

"Olguin was a tough out," New Hampshire manager Gil Wood said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."

Ricardo Olguin grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jake Odorizzi in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Michael Bowden in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 10th.

Looking at his stats this year, Olguin has compiled a .278 batting average, while hitting 6 home runs and driving in 44 runs. He has played in 94 games and scored 33 runs.
