Kershaw Lays Hammer Down in 5-0 Win
Clayton Kershaw was outstanding against New York. The left-hander, who leads the NL with a 1 complete games, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Braves 5-0 win. With the win, Atlanta improves its record to 13-10.

Kershaw, the winning pitcher, raised his record to 4-2. In 8 innings of work, Kershaw gave up no runs on 3 hits, while racking up 11 Ks. He kept the Mets punchless, offensively.

"I went after the hitters," said Kershaw. "No pussyfooting around."
