The Baltimore Orioles stopped the Boston Red Sox, 4-2, behind an impressive performance from Josh Donaldson. The fan favorite made life miserable for Boston pitching. He was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times. The winner was Alex Cobb, who threw 88 pitches over 6.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 3 hits.
