Blue Jays Win, Crawford has 4 hits
|
Toronto center fielder Carl Crawford made his presence felt in the 13-5 Blue Jays triumph over the Boston Red Sox. Crawford went 4-5 with 4 doubles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The loss has the Red Sox at 7-9.
Toronto relied on the bat of Eduardo Arredondo to get the win. The right fielder ripped a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 3-0. For the game, Arredondo had 1 double and 1 triple in 5 at-bats.
"We hit the ball hard," said Toronto manager Carlos Delgado. "Line drive after line drive."
