Rangers Suffer 2-0 Setback
|
Right-hander Chan Ho Park mesmerized the Texas Rangers while leading the Baltimore Orioles to a 2-0 victory. Park, now 11-13, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing no runs. The Orioles now own a record of 71-67.
It could have been a different outcome for Baltimore, had it not been for David Diaz, the 25-year old second baseman . Diaz contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put Baltimore up, 2-0.
"Helping the team win is what it's all about," said Diaz.
