Anthony Raglani knocked in all 6 runs for the Detroit Tigers, helping them beat the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-5. George Kontos, now 5-2, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 0 and walking 0. The loss makes St. Louis 56-46.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Detroit trailing 5-3, Raglani hit a slider from Fernando Rodney for a 3-run home run, giving the Tigers the walk-off win.
"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Raglani told the Detroit Daily News. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
