Baycats Heading to Division Series Friday, September 16th , 2022 A classic and dramatic Wildcard Series has wrapped up, with the Irving Baycats outlasting the Des Moines Centaurs to advance to the Division Series. Irving won the final game by a score of 6-3 and took the series 2-1. "We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Irving shortstop Tony Danforth, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP. Danforth hit .417 with a .417 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Irving Baycats will play against the Springdale T-Bones in the next round. Springdale had a bye in the Wildcard Series. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
