Porkers Move on to Division Series Friday, September 16th , 2022 Depending on your loyalties, the Wildcard Series was either thrilling or heartbreaking. The series went down to its final game, with the Memphis Porkers and the Little Rock Wranglers giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Porkers came out on top, winning 6-5 at Wranglers Park today to take the series 2-1. "We're lucky to be going into the Division Series," said Memphis pitcher Danny Carrillo. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason." Carrillo earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .385 average, with 1 home runs, 4 RBI and 1 runs scored. The Memphis Porkers will play against the Anaheim Blue Claws in the next round. Anaheim had a bye in the Wildcard Series. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
